Jonathan is an approachable and friendly music professional with Music degrees in Salford University (Popular Music and Recording) and The Royal Conservatory of Antwerp (Jazz Guitar). His performance has included performing with The Nepalese National BigBand in Kathmandhu, a variety of jazz and pop ensembles throughout Spain and Belgium and solo guitar gigs in Costa Rica. He has taken lessons with New York guitarists such as Peter Bernstein and is now studying Body Mapping and Alexander Technique somatic training with Jerald Harscher. He is an experienced Teaching Artist with US Documentary Songwriting group "DocSong". He is currently involved in both original music (The People Trio, Scintilla, The Jonathan Westhorp Trio) and function projects (RendezBlues).
